“The Seychelles Nurses and Midwives Council is the professional statutory body governing the practice and  education of Nurses and Midwives in Seychelles. The Council is the functioning arm of the Nurses and Midwives Act 1985; Nurses and Midwives Regulation, 1989.

Mandate of the Council: The Seychelles Nurses and Midwives Councils, is mandated to protect the public from unsafe practice through the maintenance and upgrading of professional standards.

Mission Statement (task, duty): The Nurses and Midwives Council, regulates the education and practice of nurses and midwives by ensuring that set standards are maintained through the monitoring and evaluation of nursing and midwifery care.

Vision of the Nurses and Midwives Council: To attain a high level of professionalism in the delivery nursing and midwifery care.”

Birth certificate

Application for Registration as a Nurse/& or Midwife in Seychelles.

Transcript of training

Documents submitted must be in English or French.

Certificate of training

Once registered a registration certificate and a practicing certificate will be issued

Certificate of Registration

Newly registered nurse or midwife will be advised on the terms and conditions.
